New Norfolk Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch Week 14-22 November 2020

Neighbourhood Watch is a proven Police and community partnership introduced to help control the crime rate, especially burglary and theft, and is a formal partner of Tasmania Police. It is a strong international movement and has state-wide networks of members and partner organisations.

Here at NNNW, our aims are to empower the community of New Norfolk to identify, understand and address issues that affect our local community safety; learn more about practical ways to improve personal and home security; and improve crime knowledge, prevention, detection and reporting.

NNNW promotes community well-being and increased feelings of safety, and aims to improve community harmony by increasing communication and collaboration.

During NHW Week, why not check out our website (www.nnnw.org.au) where you will find lots of information about your local group and many resources to enable you to play a role in keeping our community safe, including crime reports. This might also be a good time to consider joining NNNW as a Supporter or Member.

Our latest project delivered to the community of New Norfolk and the wider Derwent Valley is our e-hub website available at: www.connectingderwentvalley.com.au

This site brings together all that is great about our community.  Why not check it out?
