About NNNW

New Norfolk Neighbourhood Watch (NNNW) is a community-based crime prevention group. It aims to reduce the incidence of crime by forming partnerships between the community and local Police, and forging stronger bonds between neighbours.

This website and the associated Facebook page is managed by a Working Group  who undertake community outreach and local events to spread the safety message. Please browse our site often in order to keep up to date on local issues and events.

Tell your friends and family about the site so they can benefit from the wide range of information and resources that we have brought together in this hub for the benefit of the community.

  • 18/12/2018 – 26TEN Literacy Workshop at DV CommunityHouse.
  • 13/03/2019 – ‘Natter With Your Neighbour’ competition.
  • 10/04/2019 – First weekly article in the Derwent Valley Gazette.
  • 23/04/2019 – Information booth at Woolworths New Norfolk.
  • 01/05/2019 – First publishing of weekly blog posts on our website.
  • 26/09/2019 – Domestic and Family Violence Workshop in New Norfolk in conjunction with Lifeline and DV-Alert.
  • 12/11/2019 – First release of monthly Crime Reports on our website.
  • 16/11/2019 – Bunnings Glenorchy Sausage Sizzle fundraiser as part of Crime Prevention Week.
  • 14/12/2019 – Float in the New Norfolk Christmas Parade and Fair.
  • 02/02/2020 – Supporters information workshop in New Norfolk.
