Crime Reports for June 2021

Police are eager to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed any of the following incidents or observed any suspicious activity in the neighbourhood. Whilst the information you have may seem trivial, it may just be the vital clue that Police are seeking to either solve or deter crime.

On 1st June, the owner of a white Hyundai Elantra was awakened in the middle of the night, to find her vehicle burning in the driveway of her home on Derwent Terrace.  The vehicle was totally destroyed. 

On 3rd June a resident in a unit block on Andrews St, found that the copper pipes connecting his hot water cylinder to his house have been taken.

New Norfolk High School was targeted on 4th June when some fence posts and fencing iron was stolen from the school.  These items were later located, with the offender being charged.

On 11th, unknown persons have entered a unit that was under construction at Corumbene Care, and removed a large quantity of tools belonging to various tradesmen who are working on houses in the immediate area.  The various tools are Milwaukee, Ryobi and Makita brands.

Also on the same day, unknown persons have broken into the kitchen area of the Bush Inn and removed boxes of frozen food, including calamari, pizzas, and barramundi. 

A Humphrey St unit was entered on 14th June by unknown persons who damaged the complainant’s walls and television.
