The year began with a vehicle being stolen from the rear of a premises on Burnett St in New Norfolk on 1st January.
On the same day, a residence on Lawitta Rd was broken into and an amount of medication stolen.
On January 15th the New Norfolk Golf Club was targeted yet again when someone tried unsuccessfully to break into storage sheds on the premises.

On 18th, entry was gained to a shed on Shepherds Dve (off Saddle Rd) via a roller door, an amount of power tools being stolen.
An unlocked vehicle parked in the yard of a residence on Back River Rd on 22nd January was entered overnight and 2 wallets were stolen. Police would like to remind the public not to leave valuables in vehicles when unattended, and to lock their vehicles.
On 23rd a vehicle parked in a Craw St residence driveway overnight had damage committed to its tyres and windscreen.
25th – A residence under construction on Hazlewood Street had plumbing materials stolen overnight from an unlocked garage.
30th – Entry was gained to a business on The Avenue via its rear door. The alarm activated but nothing appears to have been stolen.
These matters remain unsolved unless otherwise stated. Police are anxious to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed any of the above incidents or observed any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.
