What is the most pressing neighbourhood safety issue for you personally?
This is the question we are putting to our supporters over the next few weeks as we invite them to indicate what concerns them the most with regard to safety in our community. We have created a Safety Poll survey page and ask that as many locals as possible complete the form.
Given the feedback we receive from the community, we will be able to focus our efforts for 2021 and work towards addressing these safety concerns.
Results from the poll will appear on this website, on our Facebook page and in the Derwent Valley Gazette on April 28th.
People are already beginning to complete the survey, which only takes a minute of your time. All entries are anonymous and only the counts of answers are retained for reporting back to you at the end of the poll period. We are asking that people indicate just which of the following issues are of most concern to them, at this point in time.
Motor vehicle damage, theft, drug-related issues, dumping of rubbish, excessive noise, trespassing, vandalism, alcohol-related issues, Policing, COVID-19 health impact, grafitti, domestic violence, hooning, or home burglary.
Is there an issue we’ve not included in the list? Please tell us as you complete the survey. Chances are, someone else in the community also has the same concerns.
Here’s your chance to have your say and help us gather vital information to take with us into our ongoing work towards keeping the community safe.
